Would you prefer a dull, unfurnished apartment, or a lively home with young people and every amenity you could want?
I'm searching for a housemate in their 20s or 30s to share an incredible house in a peaceful neighborhood near Springfield, IL. The common areas are furnished, but the bedroom is not.
The house features everything imaginable: a theater projection screen for movies and TV, a grotto-style pool and spa with a zipline, two waterfalls, and a waterslide, a basketball court, pool table, air hockey table, a standup arcade machine with thousands of games, access to all major streaming services, a porch swing, a bar with beer on tap, dart board, gas fireplace, and much more.
This house is truly over-the-top! Many who hear about it don't believe it until they see it. It's been featured in an HBO Special, a Jim Beam commercial, and on a popular real estate blog, ranking 4th for the "most awesome" pool.
First and last month's rent plus common expenses get you moved in. Each of us contributes $250 monthly for all shared costs, including a twice-weekly housekeeper, internet, streaming services, utilities, pool maintenance, shared cleaning supplies, toilet paper, and paper towels. For roughly what you'd pay alone for internet and TV, you get a full-service home with a housekeeper and much more.
Free parking is available. Weeknights are relatively quiet since most of us work, but we enjoy hosting on weekends. We're young professionals who like to relax with drinks, hang out, and use the amazing house.
No smoking indoors, no hard drugs, no pets, and only one person per room. No exceptions on these rules.
A security deposit of $250 is required, plus first and last month's rent and common expenses for move-in.
