I am going to air the dirty laundry as to get the correct answer here.
A lady is ditching her two kids to run off west with her boyfriend, or whatever, to find a better life. In any event the kids will be seniors this year and were enrolled in North Mac School district where they lived with mom, until she leaves. Their father is absent from their lives and wants nothing to do with them as they arw troubled teens and he has another family of his own and lives somewhere else as well. That said. These two kids want to go to Chatham High school and live with their Grandma. Grandma is not, and will not agree to be the legal guardian. And neither the mother or father live in Chatham school district of plan to, so.... can the children go to Chatham School district? Why or why not? If so, what needs to be done, by the mother, before she rides off into the sunset to allow the kids to do so?
