We’re looking for a compassione Hospice Chaplain to provide non-denominional spiritual and emotional support to pients and families facing end-of-life care. As a valued member of our interdisciplinary team, you’ll help ensure th no one walks this ph alone.

Wh You’ll Do as a Hospice Chaplain:

• Provide spiritual and emotional support to pients, families, and caregivers in alignment with their beliefs and values.

• Offer non-denominional, inclusive care th respects all faiths, spiritual traditions, and cultural backgrounds.

• Serve as an integral member of the interdisciplinary team, participing in pient care conferences and collaboring with nurses, social workers, aides, and medical staff.

• Assess spiritual needs of pients and families and develop individualized spiritual care plans.

• Conduct visits, prayers, blessings, and rituals as approprie and requested by the pient or family.

• Assist families during times of grief, loss, or transition, and provide bereavement support and counseling.

• Build relionships with local faith leaders and community resources to support pients' and families' unique spiritual needs.

• Maintain timely and accure documention of spiritual assessments, interventions, and outcomes.

The candide must meet one of the following educional requirements:

• Bachelor’s degree in theology, religion, human services, counseling, psychology, or sociology (or as required by ste-specific regulions)
• A minimum of one unit of ACPE-accredited Clinical Pastoral Educion (CPE)

Note: Degrees from accredited institutions are preferred. If a degree is from a non-accredited college or university, AVPO approval is required prior to hire.

Compension may vary within the salary range provided based on several factors including but not limited to a candide’s locion, experience, educion, skills, licensure, certificions and department equity.  Gentiva provides associes with a comprehensive benefits and total rewards package, of which base pay is just one piece.

Salary (hourly) Range – $25.95 - $30.50
